Längere Texte sollten auf mehrere Bildschirmseiten aufgeteilt werden, da gescrollter Text i.a. langsamer gelesen wird. Eine mögliche Methode ist das von Robert E. Horn entwickelte Information Mapping.

Zeilenlänge: 60 bis 80 Zeichen pro Zeile sind empfehlenswert.

Der Zeilenabstand sollte eineinhalb- bis zweizeilig sein.
